Cookeville/Putnam Branch President Tom Savage wins Prestigious Award at National Convention

President Tom Savage seen here with NAACP National President Derrick Johnson receives the prestigious Benjamin Hooks "Keeper of the Flame Award" at the 115th NAACP National Convention in Las Vegas.

The “Keeper of the Flame” Award was established in 2000 by the NAACP as a regular special recognition award for “an individual who has continued to provide public service after their official retirement from the profession.”
